Rescheduled: Deck Patching on NB I-83 Bridge Over Route 462 (Market Street) in York County

PennDOT has announced the bridge deck patching scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, Aug. 22) on the northbound Interstate 83 bridge spanning Route 462 (Market Street) at Exit 19 in Springettsbury Township, York County, has been rescheduled. A York County PennDOT maintenance crew is now scheduled to do the work on Saturday, August 29. Work was postponed due to the forecast for rain.

Weather permitting, bridge deck patching will be performed from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, August 29. A right lane closure will be in place during work hours.

Because the work will be in close proximity to the ramp from Market Street to northbound I-83, the ramp will be closed. A detour will be in place using the ramp from North Hills Road to northbound I-83.

Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
